Young and the Restless dives in to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) desperately trying to salvage his relationship with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). However, his relentless efforts are only pushing Claire further away, leading her towards another man. As Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Claire's mother, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Kyle's parents, warn him to give Claire some space, he continues to come on too strong. 

Young and Restless shows Claire, who has been getting more acquainted with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), considers putting an end to her first-ever relationship with Kyle. Despite Kyle's proposal, Claire questions whether she is ready for such a commitment, hinting at a potential breakup. In a surprising turn of events, Claire might decide to follow Holden to LA, especially if Kyle continues to suffocate her with his constant presence. 

Y&R pivots and gives Kyle's encounter with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at the Jazz Lounge a fiery exchange of insults, suggesting a potential enemies-to-lovers storyline. If Claire does decide to break up with Kyle, he might end up having a secret, purely physical relationship with Audra, which could later develop into something more. 

The Young and the Restless seems to be setting the stage for Kyle and Audra to reconnect, which could potentially be the final nail in the coffin for Claire ever considering taking Kyle back. Meanwhile, Holden appears more than willing to comfort Claire, showing his deep affection for her.
